Digital Photography AS Level
Starting course on digital photography it became plane that keeping track of what was being taught was going to me a major problem so the idea of producing a series of internet pages seemed to be a good way to be able to view my files where ever I was home or college. If anyone wants to read what I am doing no problem but really it is designed just for me.
One of the very early lessons showed us how to produce a image in photo shop with the idea of printing. Since cheap photo quality paper was available in Poundland in packs of 25 sheets it seemed sensible to use 210mm (8.268 inches) by 297mm (11.693) at 300pixels/inch (1181.1 pixels/mm) as the default size.
Adjusting light levels in the Enhance to 1.00 and Unsharp mask to Radius 1 Threshold 0 was taught in a very early lesson and then we progressed to identifying what we were going to base our portfolio on. I selected the following.
1) Transport
2) Industry
3) Architecture
4) History
5) Urban
6) Landscapes

One of the ideas is that I don't have to fill my web site with photos and I can link to the originals or link to my Windows Live site.
